(Not) Chocolate Spread

1 avocado

1 cup blanched hazelnuts

1 tbsp raw cacao powder

10ml maple syrup

 

  1. Roast the blanched hazelnuts in the oven for 10-12 minutes, do not allow them to burn

  2. Add the nuts to a food processor and blitz until they form a paste

  3. Add in the remaining ingredients and blitz to your desired consistency

  4. Store in the fridge for 4-5 days

Unlike the shop-bought variety, this contains no added sugar but is full of healthy fats from the avocado and antioxidants from the cacao
