Few people wouldn’t want to look and feel younger. For centuries, explorers, rulers, and companies have spent fortunes trying to find the secret to youth. Whether it was Ponce de Leon or a luxury skincare line, they have found limited success. That is because to look and feel younger you must do a combination of things. Doing one without the others will limit your results. So, take my advice with these seven proven secrets. All together they are the concoction to a more youthful you in 2021.


Goodbye Quarantine Hair

Regardless of where you spent the 2020 quarantine, we all ignored our hair. 2020 was the year of long hairstyles and the return of grey. However, it is time to take off the hats and get back into a haircare routine. It is time to cut the split ends, clean up the shape, and get rid of those inches of grey. Obviously we still can't see our stylists so try a home-dye to freshen things up a bit and say goodbye to quarantine hair.


Ditch the Sweatpants and PJs

Although many can look younger and carefree in sweatpants and PJs, it isn’t how most look their best. Just as you must say goodbye to the quarantine hair, do so with the quarantine uniform. Get out your little black dress or favourite Capri pants and colourful top. If you have put on a little weight over 2020, do fret. If you want to look and feel younger, you must ditch the most common bad habits that lead to aging. The first is smoking. Those wrinkles around your mouth didn’t just come from stress, sun, and frowning. They have been formed by the habit of smoking. Smoking is not only harmful to your health, but has become expensive and prohibited in most public places. The second bad habit you should kick is drinking an excessive amount of adult beverages. In moderation, wine and other alcoholic beverages can be beneficial. However, alcohol to the point of tipsy or drunk is too much. It’s time to grow up and know when is enough.

A way to quickly make you feel more youthful is by eating right. And, eventually this feeling becomes a visual reality in your appearance.
