Apricot and Date Spread

1cup soft dried apricots
1cup pitted dates
2 tbsp maple syrup

Tsp cinnamon

Grated Nutmeg
200ml cold water

Place all ingredients in a pan on a low heat for 20-25 minutes, keep an eye on it adding a little more water if you need to, give it long enough to thicken and look sticky

 

Goes very well on the seedy crackers with some cheese and celery.
